We have two leader training opportuities on offer in 2009. these are both very important ones.

County Scouting is offering a child protection update course on Thursday evening 26th Feb. It is essential stuff when dealing with young people and something that I feel that people should be aware of. For those that have not done CP before there is a course at Crowborough hut on 4th March.

St John is offering us aadventure first aid course on the 21st February and 8th March to be held at the hut. this is a nationally recognised first aid course and will cover most aspects needed for youth centres and outward bound activities. Make sure that you sign up if you don't hav such a ticket. It is valid for three years and costs only £60 to join in.
